About Helen Burgess
My coaching enables people to achieve positive, lasting change for themselves and their teams. It’s about considering ‘the why’ as well as ‘the how’ to improve your work life balance and effectiveness. Having successfully established my own company, held Board level consultancy roles and undertaken academic training, I am equipped to support leaders overcome their limiting beliefs and achieve greater success.
In any situation, there are many possible ways forward and my knowledge is used not to ‘tell’, but to enable a more creative, fresh-thinking approach. My first-hand business knowledge means I quickly establish rapport and move below the surface of challenges.
Please make use of my free downloadable materials which have been written to offer practical help. They are not there as a ‘data collection tool’, so you don’t have to sign up to get them. I hope you find them useful and if would like to receive new material from me as it’s published, then please do follow me on LinkedIn.
My Qualifications and Accreditations
Coaching is a professional service in which qualifications, accreditation and Continuous Personal Development (CPD) are essential. I have a first degree in Economics (Newcastle University), and Post Graduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching (Chester University). I am accredited as an Associate of the ICF, the largest coaching organisation in the world.
My clients can be assured of my knowledge, skill and commitment to highest ethical and professional standards.
“Leadership can be tough and inspiration sometimes hard to find. Coaching brings clarity to thinking, it allows ideas to be ‘surfaced’, fears logically examined and alternative views explored. I am trained to listen, to understand the psychology of limiting beliefs and to harness pressure rather than succumbing to stress. I will never try to impose my solution but I am very skilled in helping you find yours.”
